Whitetail Hunts

Manitoba Whitetail Hunting
Our remote wilderness whitetail hunts take place along the private farmland fringe that borders the “World Famous” Duck Mountains, located in west-central Manitoba along the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border. This unique mix of fertile agricultural land and 4,200 square miles of big timber in the Provincial Duck Mountain Park creates the perfect habitat for some of the biggest free-range Canadian whitetail.
From grain and alfalfa fields to creeks, swamps, ridges, and dense timber, this diverse terrain provides everything deer need to grow heavy and mature.
And it’s not just whitetail—this vast wilderness is alive with wildlife. Timber wolves, moose, elk, black bear, lynx, coyotes, and foxes roam these woods, meaning every hunt is an adventure filled with the possibility of incredible wildlife encounters.

What to expect
Hunting free-range Canadian whitetail in the vast wilderness of Manitoba is a true test of patience, skill, and focus. Be prepared to sit for long stretches and be ready to take a shot at a moment’s notice—sometimes requiring quick decisions in the field.
Your guide will drop you off at prime locations and continue scouting throughout the day, ensuring multiple opportunities for a successful hunt. At the end of the day, he will return to pick you up once legal hunting hours have ended, giving you the freedom to focus entirely on the hunt and the wilderness around you.
The Hunt
Our hunts are conducted from large, comfortable ladder stands or heated ground blinds, giving you the perfect vantage while staying ready for action. Expect shots in the range of 75–200 yards, with long-range opportunities occasionally reaching 300+ yards.
Hunters who remain patient, stay quiet, and hunt hard can expect an 80%+ chance of harvesting a mature trophy whitetail, typically in the 135–145" class, with opportunities for bucks exceeding 150"+.
Bonus Opportunity
On your True Canadian Whitetail hunt, you have the chance for a bonus hunt at two wolves in the pristine Duck Mountains, using your unused big game tag (must be harvested before your whitetail tag is filled). Each season, a few lucky hunters get to add this elusive predator to their trophy room—a true highlight and often considered the pinnacle of a hunter’s career.

Every effort will be made to track and recover any wounded animals. Prior to your hunt, proper shot placement will be thoroughly reviewed to ensure ethical and effective harvesting.
