Wolf Hunts
The Ultimate Predator Hunt
The North American wolf is one of the toughest and most elusive animals on the continent—often ranked as the hardest trophy to harvest, or even lay eyes on. These apex predators live deep in the northern forests, thriving in harsh conditions that test even the most seasoned hunters.
Hunting wolves demands patience, persistence, and mental toughness. You’ll need to be prepared for long sits, brutal weather, and fleeting opportunities. Bring the right cold-weather gear and the determination to stay alert from dawn to dusk. Those who can endure the elements and stay focused day after day give themselves the best chance of going home with one of North America’s most prized and respected trophies.
The Hunt
These are rut-season wolf hunts, giving you the best chance at success. During the mating season, wolves are on the move—food-driven, distracted, and often off their guard. Dominant males are busy breeding, while younger males are pushed out and forced to roam in search of new territory and packs. It’s the perfect time to strike.
You’ll hunt from comfortable ground blinds positioned over active bait sites in prime country—private agricultural edges that blend into endless BIG TIMBER, right in the heart of a game-rich wilderness. Each blind is equipped with a heater for comfort, though we recommend bringing a Heater Body Suit to stay warm through long sits in the cold northern air.
All wolf hunts include six full days of hunting on pre-baited, active sites. In this wild and predator-rich country, you’re allowed two wolves, giving you double the opportunity to take home one of North America’s most sought-after trophies.
What to expect
All wolf hunts are baited hunts, demanding patience, focus, and grit. Be prepared to sit from sunrise to sunset in true northern conditions. Each site is pre-baited and active upon your arrival, with additional locations ready to ensure every hunter has options throughout the week.
You’ll be guided deep into the remote wilderness of Duck Mountain Provincial Park by an experienced guide. After dropping you off at your stand, your guide will continue checking and maintaining other bait sites while you hunt. Every hunter is placed on a fresh, un-hunted bait, giving you the best possible chance at success.
There’s nothing that compares—or is more rewarding—than harvesting a wolf in the freezing stillness of a Canadian winter. It’s an experience few ever earn, and one you’ll remember for a lifetime.
