Wolf Hunts
Manitoba Wolf Hunting
The North American Wolf is one of the toughest, and most elusive animal of the North American species. Ranked as the number one toughest animal to harvest or even see for that matter. In many cases it takes years and many hunts to harvest your first wolf. Living deep in the forrest making it the apex-predator of North America.
Wolf hunting requires a hunter to have patience and persistence. A hunter wanting a wolf needs to come mentally prepared for long sits and needs to bring the appropriate cold weather hunting gear. Any hunter capable of staying focused and awake for the duration of each and every day of your hunt, will increase your opportunity at going home with a wolf.
The Hunt
These are RUT hunts, which increases your opportunity to have a high success rate. During Wolf mating season when the wolves are most pushed for food and off their guard mating. Males are being kicked out and will be out looking to start new packs. Ground blinds will be provided with a heater if you require some extra heat to keep you warm. We recommend coming with a Heater Body Suit. Blinds are sitting over active baits around private agriculture pushed up to BIG TIMBER in a game rich environment making this some of the best wolf territory on the planet.
All Wolf hunts are 6 full day hunts on active pre-baited sites.
IN THIS GAME RICH TERRITORY YOU ARE ALLOWED TWO WOLVES.
What to expect
All Wolf hunts are baited hunts, which means being prepared for sitting sunrise till sunset. The baits will be pre-baited and active upon your arrival, and will actively have other options available. Expect to be taken to remote areas of the Duck Mountain Provincial Park by an experienced guide, after your guide drops you off he will be monitoring other baits while you hunt.
We have new active un-hunted baits for every hunter.
Nothing compares or is more rewarding than harvesting a wolf in the depths of freezing temperatures of a Canadian Winter.
